on the wall n my apt it began looking like water damage. i took pictures and was assured by LL that it would be fiixed.. how ever i have heard nothing..
now the outlet on that wall has water damage and black around it from the water damage.. could it be mold??
the molding on same wall has water damage and paint is cracking.. what could happen if outlet is used? could i get sick? this has been goin on 6 months

Yes to the mold question, using the outlet could be dangerous. You could get a shock. get your LL off his butt.

It is probably mold,,,,,,,,,,,,but anything around an outlet should be checked….It could throw a breaker or start a fire…..Check it out….

Plaster it with putty and re-paint the area. Find out the source of the water and block it with cement or emseal or replacing the leaking pipe.

I am not the type to sue, however, take pictures & document EVERTHING, This could cause damage on down the line.
