I know this is gross but our cat through up today and I used a dry paper towel to get it up and then I scrubed it with a wet paper towel and a sponge. It wouldn’t dry on its own (I waited six and a half hours) so I dryed it with a hairdryer. It’s a little less noticable but its still there. Is there anyway to get it up?

use a small amount of carpet cleaner. Spot check the rug somewhere inconspicuous to make sure that the cleaner doesn’t discolor the carpet. Let it sit on the stain 3 or 4 minutes, then wipe it up with a sponge or paper towel.
Make sure your kitty doesn’t get in the carpet cleaner–it’s unhealthy for animals.

Sisal is made out of natural plant fibers, like hemp. If you get it wet it will stain it permanently and weaken the material. I hate sisal, stupid designer materials – so impractical.

wet it again…blot it (enough to reconstitute it…sounds gross) then sprinkle (kinda thickly) baking soda and salt. when it has dried, scrub gently with medium brush then vacuum. if it left it chalky, just dampen it enough to lift it out then vacuum again.
another really good dry carpet cleaner is resolve (DRY granules) this stuff gets ANYthing out

Use OxyClean liquid.
That stuff really is as good as they show it on TV! I used it on a spilled wine stain and it worked wonders.
