Flooring trade publication Interiors Monthly has voted Cormar Carpets the Best Carpet Manufacturer 2011. Voted for by their readers, the award was announced in the August edition of the magazine and isn’t the first accolade from the publication, with Cormars picking up their Best Customer Service Award for the past two years running. Editor of Interiors Monthly, Andrew Kidd, said the winners of the awards are the companies that are the best in their field and constantly try to better their offering.
David Judge, Cormar Carpets Managing Director said of the award: “There’s no doubting that the economic climate is very tough, but we have continued to invest in our business – in terms of machinery, products, systems development and most importantly – people. And this has meant that the quality, value and service we can provide carpet retailers has continued to improve as well.”
This most recent award is not the first for the Bury based carpet manufacturer in 2011, having picked up Supplier of the Year by two Independent Carpet Retailer Buying Groups (Flooring One and the Metro Group) earlier in the year. In the past ten years, Cormar’s has picked up an impressive 27 awards.
